My Tribute to the Best Soul

In my whole existences in this world, till date I have come across so many people of different shades and colors with different characters and personalities having immense power with wealth and powerless people struggling for two square meals. But among all the seas of humanity, only one soul has conquered my perception of an ideal human being. His name is KEHNYU PHOM. His looks belied his actions. He was so simple and humble and never countered anything offensive said or done against him. He took everything in his stride with a smile, either good or bad, arguing that everything is done by the almighty God for the good of a person.
Though he was besieged with so many problems at home, he took great pain and made ultimate sacrifices to establish the fellowship of Sakshi people residing in Dimapur to Chumukedima in Jan 2008 acting as the Fellowship incharge. He was the main person behind all the activities of Sakshi Fellowship and achieved great success within a short period of time which was clearly reflected in the attitude and approach of Sakshi people residing in Dimapur to Chumukedima. There were more unity, Love and respect due to the constant interaction, consultation and encouragement during fellowship hour. The relationship between the different people was becoming closer and even the relationship with the Almighty God was improving scientifically.
Unfortunately, many people might have noticed the yeomen service provided by him and the significance of his services but I’m sure, the almighty God definitely recognized his works and took him away from this earthly world, filled with sufferings, injustice, hypocrisy and discrimination, to be with him in his lap in peace and happiness on 29th December 2010 at 4:00 A.M. sadly, I couldn’t even see his dead body since I was out of station but as a matter of fact, he will always remain an inspirational source in my whole life and pray that his short and purposeful life will definitely bear fruits. Also, there may be so many unsung heroes like him in this make-believe-world to whom I pay my respect and salute their deeds. Through this tribute I call upon all my fellow human beings to inherit the good deeds and exemplary life left behind by these great souls. May God bless us all. Happy New Year 2011 (Silence is golden).
