Kohima, September 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Association for Adventure, Mountaineering and Education (NAAME) is all set to commemorate its 20th Foundation Day with a special trekking expedition to Mt Terogvü, the highest peak in Tseminyu District.
Marking two decades of its journey, NAAME will bring together its members, friends and well-wishers to celebrate 20 years of adventure, mountaineering, education, friendship and shared experiences.
In observation of the 20th Foundation Anniversary, NAAME is set to organize a cleanliness drive cum trek to Mt Terogvü Peak on October 3 at Terogvunyu village, Tseminyu District.
The event is organized in collaboration with Terogvunyu Youth Organisation (TYO) and partners of Nagaland Forest Management Project (NFMP).
The initiative aims to encourage youth and community engagement for responsible adventure and environmental conservation.
Members participating in the programme will gather at the NAAME Office, Razhü Point, at 8:00 AM, before departing for Tseminyu and proceeding onwards for the trek to Mt. Terogvü Peak.
The 20th Foundation Day celebration is envisioned not only as a commemoration of NAAME’s journey over the past two decades, but also as an opportunity to reaffirm its continuing engagement with adventure, mountaineering, education and environmental stewardship.
NAAME extended a warm invitation to its members, friends, well-wishers and all those who share an interest in adventure and the outdoors to join in this special milestone celebration.
