Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): The Naga Hoho has condemned the “unfortunate firing incident” that took placed in Kohima on Monday, where a precious life was lost while another three were injured.
The hoho in a press note issued by its publicity & information secretary C. Daipao stated that at a time when the Nagas are going through a very crucial period with the ongoing cease-fire and the Indo-Naga political dialogues going on in the right direction and the process of Naga reconciliation inching towards in a very positive manner as expected by the Nagas, the Naga Hoho observed the Monday incident as a desperate act by some vested interest to derail the hard earned ongoing peaceful environment, political dialogue and the process of Naga reconciliation process.
The Naga Hoho while condemning the incident in the strongest term, appealed to each and every right thinking peace loving Nagas to stand up and condemn such an act and make sure that such unwanted acts is repeated in the near future.
