Dimapur, July 8 (MExN): The Naga National Army, NNC, Yimchungrii Region in response to the news item “NNC Army Yimchungrii Region supports 'Kiumukam'” has stated that it is totally a false information because Kiumukam “a self- styled Vice President is no more treated as a Vice President of the NNC” as he has been already terminated from the organisation.
In a rejoinder appended by ‘brigadier’ Kiuthsang Yimchungrii of Naga National Army, NNC, Yimchungrii Region stated that Kiumukam's was terminated from office on June 2. “…a meeting was held at Tsashir Village, the Village where the great war General Lt. Lakhum also known as the 'War Lord' took his birth since then the NNC Army Yimchungrii Region no more considered him as the Vice President of NNC Nagaland.”
Retorting further, the note said: “His (Kiumukam) as declared by him a meeting was held at tsashir Village on 5th of July mentioning 9 (nine) higher authorities from the army rank supporting him is totally baseless, which is like a cock and bull story. Because the big question ? is that the meeting which was about to be held on 5th of July was totally banned by the army of the NNC command Mr. Keorun Commander. And also when approaching the said nine persons (as mentioned by self styled Kiumukam), they said that they have no idea regarding the continuation of Kiumukam as the Vice President of NNC also as they never had a meeting on 5th of July due to the banned by the NNC Army Yimchungrii Region (sic).” The NNC Yimchungrii Region (Army Rule) has advised Kiumukam not to misguide the people through false ideologies and false leadership.
