Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj greets on Chhath Puja

Dimapur, October 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) has extended its greetings to all devotees on the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, which will be observed on October 27 and 28.

In a statement, the Samaj said it has made “elaborate arrangements” for devotees to perform the traditional rituals on the banks of the River Dhansiri in Ura Villa Colony, Dimapur. Rajeev Singh, President of NBS, conveyed wishes, stating, “May the divine blessings of Chhathi Maiya and Surya Dev bring good health, happiness, prosperity, and harmony to every home.” The Samaj expressed hope that the sacred festival, known for its themes of “faith, purity, and gratitude,” would serve to “strengthen the bonds of unity and togetherness among all communities” in the state.
