KOHIMA, JANUARY 23 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has expressed sadness over the demise of Merenla Chuba, wife of L Chuba Pongen, Chairman of Look East Construction Pvt. Ltd who breathed her last on January 23 after prolonged illness at her residence in Dimapur.
In a condolence message, Rio described late Merenla Chuba as a loving, supportive, kind and God-fearing mother, wife and grandmother. “Nothing fully prepares us for the death of a loved one. However, you have done your best by taking care of her, being there for her when she needed you the most. I hope you find solace and comfort in the fact that she lived her life well, and we thank God for the wonderful person she was,” the condolence message read.
