Nagaland to declare HSLC & HSSLC results on May 18

The provisional results of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2018 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) will be declared in the afternoon of May 18.  

A notification from NBSE on May 14 stated that the results will be available in both online as well as SMS mode from Friday afternoon.  

In printed forms, the provisional Result Gazettes will also be issued to all the registered institutions of the Board and the results will also be available on the notice board of the NBSE Office on the same day, it informed.  

The heads of registered institutions are further informed to collect the marksheets and other documents from the afternoon of May 18 to May 21.  

“If the head of institution cannot come, duly authorised persons should be deputed to collect the same.”  

The results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations, which are usually declared either in last week of April or first week of May was delayed this year due to election to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on February 27.  

As per the Board’s record, a total of 36993 students registered to appear for 2018 HSLC & HSSLC examinations. In Class 12, there were 15281 candidates while 21712 sat for the exam in Class 10.
