Nagaland Governor extends Moatsü greetings

Kohima, April 30 (MExN): Nagaland Governor La Ganesan has extended Moatsü greetings to the Ao brothers and sisters, wishing them good health, lasting peace, and joyful celebrations.

Moatsü marks a time of joy and rest after the hard work of sowing seeds and preparing the land. It is a celebration of friendship, unity, and community bonding through gift exchanges, feasting, and shared traditions, the Governor said in a message.

“Let this festival inspire us to strengthen our cultural roots and pass on our rich heritage to future generations,” he added.
Moatsü is celebrated in the first week of May every year.
