Nagaland Police Retired Officers’ Association annual meeting

CHÜMOUKEDIMA, October 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Police Retired Officers’ Association will observe its 11th annual meeting and get-together on October 25 at the Central Officer's Mess, Chümoukedima. According to an press release by the association's Information Secretary, the event will commence at 11:00 AM. All members of the association have been requested to attend the meeting. The dress code for the event has been specified as a blazer with a tie.

NStCB 56th Annual General Meeting on October 24

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 22 (MExN): The Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd (NStCB) will conduct its 56th Annual General Meeting on October 24 at its Head Office in Dimapur, according to a press release. The meeting, scheduled for 11.00 AM at the bank's headquarters in Churches Colony Khermahal, will be chaired by Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, the Finance Commissioner of the Government of Nagaland, who also serves as the ex-officio Chairman of the bank. The release stated that the meeting will be attended by the Commissioner & Secretary of the Cooperation Department, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and a host of delegates representing various Cooperative Societies from across the state. The bank has issued the invitation and detailed programme for the AGM, outlining the agenda items to be covered. The formal notice for the meeting has already been published, the announcement added.

The Phom Language Promotion and Translation Cell at Yingli College, Longleng organised a Phom Folk Song and Recitation Competition on October 22. The event, conducted in both Phom and English, featured discussions on Phom language and history. The initiative aims to use creative methods to promote Phom language and culture through future events.
