Nagaland: Opposition MLAs to be part of COVID-19 monitoring teams

Kohima, April 13 (MExN): Nine members of opposition bench in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly have been assigned to be part of the ongoing teams of Ministers/Advisors to monitor measures for combat COVID-19.

 As recommended by the NLA Speaker the Chief has assigned MLAs from the Opposition Bench to be part of the teams, a press release from the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio informed.

The teams, among others, have been assigned to monitor implementation of effective measures for prevention and control of COV1D 19.

The nine MLA from Naga People’s Front have been assigned to join nine districts in Nagaland.   

The members are Imkong L Imchen – Mokokchung; Kuzholuzo Nienu – Phek;  Muthingnyuba- Tuensang; YM Yollow – Mon; Dr Chumben Muny – Wokha;  Khriehu Liezietsu – Kohima; Azheto Zhimomi  - Dimapur; Er Picto -  Zunheboto; and Leader of Opposition, TR Zelaing - Peren
