According to a DIPR report, key departments presented their action plans. The PWD (R&B) and NHIDCL briefed on road infrastructure preparedness, including vulnerable stretches and measures to tackle landslides.  Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF outlined emergency response mechanisms.

The Health & Family Welfare department apprised on readiness of medical personnel and essential medicines, while Food & Civil Supplies along with Agri and Allied departments assured uninterrupted supply of essential commodities during monsoon.

Given the vulnerability of NH-29 (Dimapur–Kohima) and NH-02 (Kohima–Mao), the meeting deliberated on regulating movement of heavy vehicles, especially those with more than 10-wheel configurations, to ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow.
