Guwahati, April 6 (MExN): To clear the extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will be operating a one way unreserved special train between Naharlagun (Arunachal Pradesh) and Madurai (Tamil Nadu) on April 7. As per an official release, the Train No. 05852 (Naharlagun – Madurai Jn.) will depart from Naharlagun at 11:50 AM on April 7 to reach Madurai Jn. at 4PM hours on April 10.
The unreserved special train will consist of 20 coaches. During its one way journey, the train will have stoppages at Harmuti, Viswanath Charali, Rangapara North, Udalguri, Tangla, Rangiya, Barpeta Road, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, Mathabhanga, Jalpaiguri Road, New Jalpaiguri and Kishanganj stations over NFR.
Passengers of North bank of the Brahmaputra and the capital city area of Arunachal Pradesh, who plan to make their journey towards Southern part of India will get the benefit of this service, informed the release from the CPRO, NFR. Waitlisted passengers of other trains in this route can also avail this opportunity, it added.
