NE youth to gain global career pathways through new partnership

Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): Chef Joel Consultancy, Recruitment and Catering Services, along with E-Centre, a sister concern under Edu Northeast Private Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JOJO International Group to facilitate international internships, work permits, and permanent residency opportunities for students and job seekers from Northeast India.

The partnership is aimed at creating structured global career pathways for aspirants from the region, covering destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

JOJO International Group, founded in 2009, is a New Delhi-headquartered international recruitment and workforce mobility company with over 16 years of experience in global placements. It operates across major Indian cities including Kolkata, Darjeeling, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Varanasi, and maintains international offices in the Philippines, Indonesia, Dubai, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

“This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the youth looking for jobs and career growth in Europe, the United States and the Middle East. We believe this initiative will create exposure, employment, and long-term professional development for many aspiring candidates,” said Limasangla, Manager of the programme.

According to Rohit Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of JOJO International Group, the collaboration will open avenues for Northeast candidates seeking global internships in countries such as France, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, the United States, Australia, and Dubai.

Overseas work permits will be facilitated for Middle East destinations including Dubai, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. In Europe, opportunities will be available in Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, Belarus, Bosnia, Albania, and Poland. The initiative will also assist eligible candidates seeking Permanent Residency Visas for Australia and New Zealand, as well as High-Net-Worth Individual (HNI) and investment visa opportunities in New Zealand.

Chef Joel Consultancy and E-Centre have been working in career guidance, recruitment, training, and placement development across the Northeast. Through its EduCentre Career Counselling (ECC) wing, the organisation has engaged with over 5,000 students and guided more than 1,000 toward educational and career opportunities.

The organisations said the collaboration would strengthen skill development, international placement access, and global workforce readiness among Northeast India's youth, at a time when interest in overseas careers continues to grow rapidly.
