Guwahati, August 30 (MExN): Prof (Dr) Sangeeta Tripathi, Director of the NERIM Group of Institutions, was honoured with the ‘Women Leadership in Education’ award at the ‘ET Industry Leaders North-East 2025’ award ceremony held on August 29.
The event was organised by the Times of India Group in association with Byatikram.
The NERIM Group of Institutions also received the ‘Leadership in Academic Excellence’ award, recognising its 35 years of contribution to the student community in the North Eastern region.
In her acceptance speech, Prof. Tripathi highlighted the honesty and educational advancement of the people of the North East from a pan-India perspective. She emphasised the significant potential of the student community in the region to serve as future leaders in various fields including business, service, and education.
She also noted that the North East stands out in women’s equality, with a long-standing tradition of women in leadership roles, setting an example for the rest of the country.
The accolades underscore Prof Tripathi’s leadership and the institution’s sustained efforts in advancing education in the region.
