Guwahati, February 17 (MExN): NERIM Group of Institutions celebrated its 32nd foundation day with the theme ‘celebrating with society’ on February 16.
A press release received here stated that the celebration was marked by events such as adopting villages near Guwahati for their development and education, distributing flasks to roadside vendors, feeding stray dogs, visit to old age home and cake cutting, cleanliness drive in nearby area, distribution of NERIM bags and mugs to nearby banks and shopkeepers, coordinating eye camp at NERIM campus, distribution of goodies to partner NGOs, mental health drive, legal aid clinic, street play, etc.
NERIM Group of Institutions also encouraged the students to participate in creative writing, quiz and sports activities as part of the foundation day celebration, the release stated.
