Kohima, December 6 (MExN): A new book titled “Becoming Me,” the maiden poetry collection of young author Mutsolu Z Lohe, was officially launched today at CUE Academy in Kohima.
Delivering Publisher’s note, Dr Rukulu Kezo Puro, highlighted the sincerity and honesty that define the collection, noting that these qualities will resonate strongly with a wide range of readers.
The author Mutsolu explained that the poems are grounded in simple yet heartfelt reflections on childhood, school experiences, family bonds, friendships, faith, and the tender often challenging process of growing into young adulthood.
Keduoneinuo Solo, author of “My Dream Girl” and Research Scholar congratulated Mutsolu on her achievement and encouraged her to continue nurturing her literary voice.
In her critique, Solo described the collection as a bildungsroman in verse, distinguished by the poet’s simplicity, clarity, and emotional honesty.
Earlier, Theja Lohe, Art Director of Cue Academy Publications delivered welcome address, while Ruovinuo Mere, Associate Pastor of Baptist Revival Church invoked God’s blessings.
The book is published by CUE Academy Publications.
