Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The New Reserve Youth Organisation has issued a condemnation following the stabbing of a 21-year-old boy within the colony on September 17. It described the act as “barbaric” and “not acceptable in a civilised society.” While acknowledging that the concerned authority is taking necessary action, the organisation made it clear that such violence would not be tolerated. “We make it clear that no such act will ever be acceptable in our colony. We also call upon the parents of the accused to take full responsibility by ensuring he is kept in a secure environment where no further harm can be caused,” it stated. “We, therefore, stand united in demanding swift justice and reaffirm our commitment to preserving peace and safety in New Reserve,” the organisation added.
