
Maligaon, March 11 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) conducted the 69th Management Development Programme for Senior Supervisors of Alipurduar Division at the Multi-Disciplinary Zonal Training Institute (MDZTI), Alipurduar. This programme aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of railway supervisors by equipping them with the necessary managerial and technical skills to handle operational challenges effectively.
Sr Deputy General Manager (SDGM) and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Rajiv Mahajan graced the occasion and distributed certificates of participation to all 50 supervisors who successfully completed the training.
As part of the event, distinguished individuals from diverse fields were also felicitated for their outstanding achievements. Among them was Swapna Barman, an Asian Gold Medallist and recipient of the prestigious Arjuna Award, recognized for her excellence in athletics. Smt. Mahua Biswas, a dedicated Railway Teacher, was honoured for her contribution to the field of education. Sandhya Rani, Chief Nursing Superintendent, was also acknowledged for her commitment to healthcare services. Additionally, Trishita Das, a Bharatnatyam dancer, was acknowledged for her dedication to Indian classical dance and cultural enrichment.
