
Maligaon, September 5 (MExN): In a move to cater to the escalating festive rush and meet substantial passenger demand, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the extension of three pairs of special trains.
Each train will run for 13 additional trips in both directions, operating with their existing schedules, timings, composition, and stoppages. This initiative is also expected to benefit wait-listed passengers on other trains plying these routes.
The service of Train No. 09189 (Mumbai Central – Katihar) Special has been extended and will now operate from October 4 to December 27. In the return direction, Train No. 09190 (Katihar – Mumbai Central) Special will run from October 7 to December 30.
The service of Train No. 05638 (Silchar – Naharlagun) Special has been extended and will now operate from October 6 to December 29. In the return direction, Train No. 05637 (Naharlagun – Silchar) will run from October 7 to December 30.
The service of Train No. 05628 (Agartala – Guwahati) Special has been extended and will now operate from October 2 to December 25. In the return direction, Train No. 05627 (Guwahati – Agartala) will run from October 3 to December 26.
