GANGTOK, APRIL 10 (MExN): The 70th Management Development Programme for Senior Supervisors of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) was inaugurated on April 8 at the Nathula Pass Railway Guest House in Gangtok, Sikkim.

Formally inaugurating the event,  Rajiv Mahajan, Senior Deputy General Manager (SDGM) and Chief Vigilance Officer highlighted the critical role of supervisors in ensuring safety, discipline, and productivity across the railway network.

He also emphasised the need to align personal aspirations with organisational goals and to foster a culture of positive and proactive leadership.

According to a press release from the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), NFR, the programme included a series of lectures and interactive sessions conducted by senior NFR officers with focus on developing a positive attitude, effective time management, and improving work productivity among railway professionals.

The initiative is part of NFR’s ongoing efforts to enhance leadership capabilities, managerial efficiency, and operational effectiveness among its frontline supervisory staff, it added.
