Maligaon, August 10 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to extend the service of 12343/12344 Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri - Sealdah Darjeeling Mail upto Haldibari with revision in timing at New Jalpaiguri station only. This extension will benefit the passengers of a vast area like Haldibari, Jalpaiguri in need of travel to Sealdah, it said in a press release on Wednesday.
According to the release, Train No 12343 will depart from Sealdah at 22:05 hours from August 14 to reach New Jalpaiguri at 08:00 hours and Haldibari at 10:00 hours on August 15. Train No 12344 will depart from Haldibari at 18:00 hours from August 15 to reach New Jalpaiguri at 19:35 hours on the same day and Sealdah at 06:00 hours on August 16. This train will run on daily basis between Sealdah – Haldibari - Sealdah and timings at all enroute stoppages between Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri – Sealdah will remain unchanged, it said.
During it’s both ways journey the train will have stoppages at Barddhaman, Bolpur Shantiniketan, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri and Jalpaiguri stations.
The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available at IRCTC website and through NTES and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NFR, it said, while requesting passengers to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
