Maligaon, December 4 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to resume the services of Train No. 75741/75742 Siliguri Junction – Dhubri - Siliguri Junction daily intercity express from December 5 for the benefit of short distance passengers.
The train No. 75741 Siliguri junction – Dhubri intercity express will leave Siliguri junction at 05-00 hours to reach Dhubri at 12-00 hours. In return direction, train No. 75742 Dhubri – Siliguri junction intercity express will leave Dhubri at 12-15 hours to reach Siliguri junction at 21-55 hours.
The details of timings and stoppages of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NFR. Passengers are requested to observe the Covid-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey.
Cancellation of trains:
• In view of the cyclone ‘Jawad’, the following train services are cancelled: The service of train No. 12510 Guwahati – Bangalore Cantt. Express, scheduled to start journey on December 6 and 7 has been cancelled; and the service of train No. 02984 Agartala - Bangalore Cantt. Special, scheduled to start journey on December 7 has been cancelled.
• Due to traffic block for maintenance works in Malda division of Eastern Railway: The service of train No. 12363 Kolkata - Haldibari Express, scheduled to start journey on December 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25 has been cancelled; The service of train No.12364 Haldibari - Kolkata Express, scheduled to start journey on December 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24 and 26 has also been cancelled.
NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Guneet Kaur in a press release stated that moreover, due to traffic block for signalling works at Chhaygaon station of Rangiya division, the service of train No. 05019/05020 Mendipathar – Guwahati - Mendipathar passenger special, scheduled to start journey on December, 6 has been cancelled.
