Maligaon, August 30 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will operate a weekly festival special train between New Tinsukia and SMVT Bengaluru from September 18 to November 2, 2025, to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festive season.
Train No. 05952 will depart from New Tinsukia every Thursday at 18:45 hrs from September 18 to October 30, arriving at SMVT Bengaluru on Sunday at 09:30 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 05951 will leave SMVT Bengaluru every Sunday at 23:50 hrs from September 21 to November 2, reaching New Tinsukia on Wednesday at 16:25 hrs.
The train will halt at major stations including Dibrugarh, Rangiya, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, and Katpadi, among others. It will comprise 20 coaches, including AC 3-Tier and Sleeper classes.
