Maligaon, April 7 (MExN): At Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), to accommodate the extra footfall of passengers during this upcoming summer of 2025, it has been decided to operate additional four pairs of summer special trains.
The trains will run between SMVT Bengaluru-Narangi stations from April 8 till May 3, Dibrugarh- Kolkata stations from April 12 till June 30, SSS Hubballi-Katihar stations from April 9 till May 3 and Silchar-Kolkata stations from April 10 till June 27.
Special train no. 06559 (SMVT Bengaluru-Narangi) will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 23:40 hours from April 8 to reach Narangi at 05:00 hours on Friday. Train no.06560 (Narangi-SMVT Bengaluru) will depart from Narangi at05:30 hours from April 12 to reach SMVT Bengaluru at 09:45 hours on Monday. Both the trains will run for 04 trips.
Special train no. 05932(Dibrugarh-Kolkata) will depart from Dibrugarh at 17:20 hours on April 12 to reach Kolkata at 00:30 hours on Monday. Train no. 05931 (Kolkata-Dibrugarh) will depart from Kolkata at 02:30 hours on April 14 (Monday) to reach Dibrugarh at 06:30 hours on Tuesday. Both the trains will run for 12 trips.
Special train no. 07325 (SSS Hubballi-Katihar) will depart from Hubballi at 15:15 hours on April 9 to reach Katihar at 13:00 hours on Friday. Train no. 07326 (Katihar-SSS Hubballi) will depart from Katihar at 14:30 hours on April 12 to reach Hubballi at 10:50 hours on Monday. Both the trains will run for 4 trips.
Special train no. 05639 (Silchar-Kolkata) will depart from Silchar at 05:00 hours on April 10 to reach Kolkata at 12:05 hours on Friday. Train no. 05640 (Kolkata-Silchar) will depart from Kolkata at 13:15hours on April 11 to reach Silchar at 23:50 hours on Saturday. Both the trains will run for 12 trips.
“The details of routes, stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their train journeys,” stated a press release issued by Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR.
