Nikali K Shohe represents Nagaland at Femina Miss India 2026

Kohima, April 17 (MExN): Nagaland celebrates the journey of Nikali K Shohe, a 22-year-old from Philimi village, now settled in Akuhaito town, as she represents Nagaland state at the prestigious Femina Miss India 2026. The grand event is scheduled to take place on April 18 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Nikali has consistently proven her excellence and dedication in the field of pageantry. She holds notable titles including Miss Northeast 2026 (1st Runner-Up), Miss Nagaland 2024 (1st Runner-Up), and Miss Sumi 2024, marking her as one of the most promising young representatives from the state.

Beyond her achievements on stage, Nikali is a determined individual with a clear vision for her future. She aspires to become a Drug Control Officer, reflecting her commitment to public service and societal well-being.

Sharing her experience at Femina Miss India, Nikali expressed, “My experience at FMI so far has been truly amazing. I am learning something new every single day, and stepping out of my comfort zone has been the most transformative part of this journey. Each day feels like a new milestone, filled with lessons that are shaping me into a better version of myself. Representing my state is a constant reminder to keep pushing harder and doing better, no matter the obstacles.”

“This journey is about becoming the best version of myself while honouring where I come from. I carry my roots, my identity, and my people with pride, and I am determined to represent my state with strength and give my very best till the end,” she said.

In a message to the people of Nagaland, Nikali said, “We are known for our quiet strength and pure hearts. No matter the labels, the judgments, or the stereotypes we face, let us remain true to who we are. Let us rise with kindness, confidence, and unwavering authenticity. Because our strength doesn’t need to be loud—its presence alone speaks volumes.”

As she steps onto the national stage, Nikali carries with her the hopes, pride, and spirit of Nagaland, inspiring young individuals across the region to dream big and stay rooted in their identity, according to Media cell of  Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN).
