Niuland, September 24 (MExN): Niuland District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC conference hall, Niuland on September 24.
Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Niuland, Sara S Jamir, while chairing the meeting informed the members that as per the directive from the Minister PHED & Cooperation Jacob Zhimomi, the DPDB members will be visiting the schools and villages in the first week of October to verify the projects implementation in the district and requested all the members to be prepared for the visitation program.
The DPDB members approved to hold seminars on the role of VCCs GBs and VDBs in all the 103 villages in the district.
In this regard, the DC Niuland asked all the development departments to prepare for the power point presentation. The purpose of the seminar is to sensitise to the public about the role and functions of the VCCs, GBs & VDBs and also about how various state and central government schemes and projects are being implementing in the villages.
The DC Niuland also reminded the concerned department officials to compulsorily get GPS tagging photos for the entire programme.
Dy Registrar Cooperation Societies Niuland from Cooperation Department, Bisinle Kemp, gave the Power Point presentation while the Fishery department were requested to have Power Point presentation for the next DPDB meeting. The meeting also reviewed the last DPDB meeting.
