
Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): The Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) has expressed concern over the recurrence of spate of violence and crimes in the Naga Society.
Raising serious concern over the incidence taken place in the last few days, NMA, expressed pain that we are not secure even in our own homes and, strongly condemned the August 28, attempted rape of a women by CRPF, Mani Kuttan at Lerie colony Kohima, another School girl at Keziekhe by Khrusazo of Nerhema village on September 18 both in their own homes. While condemning, NMA strongly appeals to the authorities to punish the culprits as per the law, stated the NMA in a press note.
Further, it has vehemently condemned the shoot-out at Kohima and the firing at D.Block which took place in public places where a person was killed and injuring innocent lives for no fault of theirs, NMA strongly appealed to all sections of the Naga Society to not only condemn but to be more alert and put join efforts to eradicate social evils. As citizens we are all responsible to safe guard our society.
