NNC denounce criticism against leadership

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): the ‘NNC Angami regional council’ denounces criticism at the Dr. Senka Yaden-led NNC leadership allegedly by “so-called MIP of Ghosiiho/ Kiumukam of fake NNC run by some newcomers.”
The regional council said the statements against the NNC leaders “without knowing the head and tail of national affairs of NNC” by “wrong persons who misused money taken by fraud from GPRN/NSCN” are “marked by the NNC because of creating confusion in the minds of the people just to extort money in Dimapur.” President Zhavilhou Tacii and general secretary Vimetel Sakhrie of the Angami regional Council appended the rejoinder received here today.
Referring to what it said is a statement that came out in the newspapers on July 10 “by newcomer”, the note stated, is “all rubbish and without facts.”
“The different regional council authorities are doing what is legitimate and right, nobody can blame the general secretary of NNC (V Nagi) who is well known to the people for his work for peace and unity are on the right national stand of NNC. As long as the general secretary of NNC Mr. V Nagi supported by the absolute majority of NNC, nobody can say or do anything against him by wrong ways of tarnishing his political image,” the rejoinder explained.
Further, the rejoinder said Sumi regional council president Khehoto “who started working as a bodyguard of NNC officials of those days of 1955 is an experienced and senior NNC official.” “Nobody can question his legitimacy/authority, not even by Ghosiiho or a newcomer of very recent time involvement for position and money who is/are not at all working for the Naga freedom. These persons have already announced to tax and extort money in the fake name of NNC,” the NNC Angami regional council note stated.
“The suspended and terminated persons like Ghosiiho, Kiumukam and some newcomers cannot represent NNC. Therefore, the people, the national workers of other groups, different agencies in Nagaland should mark these few persons for arrest and take action for the betterment of our society in particular,” the NNC note added.
