Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The NNC (N/A) has alleged of Khehoto V.Zhimo, president of Sumi region NNC over tarnishing the image of the NNC leaders. “…you are writing all false accusation against our leader and trying to assassinate their character but beware you are reflecting yourself through your writing,” it stated in rejoinder appended by K.Sumi, Wati Jamir of MIP NNC.
The NNC also retorted that if at all Khehoto wanted to write, he should have written about issues which is relevant. Concerning Kiumukam Yim, he is the vice president of the organization, he has been duly elected by the organization and has mandate of the people and as per the responsibility shouldered upon him he is sincerely working to take our organization forward. “You have also accused him of appointing official in or organization at will. But till date he has not appointed even a single official, matter if he has any proposal it is sent to the cabinet which deliberates the issue and is then sent to the general secretary for his final approval. We fail to understand why you are taking so much interest in the functioning of our organization. You are not authorized to poke your nose in our organization and you are ordered to stop such activities forthwith,”
The NNC also stated that Khehoto accused GPRN/NSCN ‘home kilonser’ Hothrong and ‘chaplee kilonser’ Kughalu Mulatonu of appointing Ghosuho Tuccu as a Kilonser in the organization on the May 16. “Were you day dreaming when this article was being written by others in your name, " it stated.
It also further stated that the GPRN/NSCN and the NNC (N/A) are two separate entities. They work under their own constitution and we have our own constitution. “We have no authority to interfere in their affair nor do they have authority to interfere in our affair. We work independently of each other. You immediately substantiate your allegation. We also call upon those persons whose name has been dragged into this cheap political game to verify and if not true to give out exemplary punishment to all those involved so that they do not indulge in such cheap propaganda which will only create misunderstanding and confusion amongst us.”
Also, the photograph which appeared on May 31, 2011 is the group photo of NNC core committee members and the GPRN/NSCN officials. Supporting its stand, it said that the core committee members were invited by the GPRN/NSCN officials to discuss matter of common interest and nothing more. “Just because we hold discussion with this group or that group it does not mean that we support this group or is against them you seem to be a frog in the well who is confined to a small area with no knowledge of the outside world, be a frog in the ocean and be exposed universally,” the note stated.
