Kohima, May 20 (MExN): Fuel dispensing continues without any restrictions across Nagaland, public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs), IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL, said on Wednesday, assuring uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel and LPG despite global uncertainties in the oil and gas sector.
The OMCs said adequate stocks of petroleum products are available across the supply chain and replenishment is being carried out continuously to meet genuine consumer demand efficiently.
“Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly across all outlets and supplies are being maintained without any restrictions, in line with prescribed safety and operational norms,” the companies said in a statement issued by the PIB Kohima.
LPG supplies to domestic consumers are also being maintained normally, with deliveries progressing smoothly across the state, it added.
The public sector OMCs said they are closely coordinating on logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access to citizens. The overall supply situation remains stable and under constant monitoring.
Citizens have been requested to maintain normal purchasing behaviour and avoid unnecessary panic buying. The public has also been advised to rely only on official communications issued by the OMCs for authentic information related to fuel availability.
Supply figures specific to the State may be incorporated by the respective SLCs, wherever required, it added.
