CHÜMOUKEDIMA, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): The 41st Nagaland Police Employees Welfare Scheme (NPEWS) annual general body meeting 2023 was held on November 17 at Rhododendron Hall, NPOCM, Chümoukedima, a DIPR report informed.
The meeting was chaired by Joseph Hesso, IGP (Adm) & President NPEWS. Rupin Sharma, DGP Nagaland, Sandeep M. Tamgadge, ADGP (L&O), Martin Pienyü, IGP (INT) and Imlisunep IGP (Vigilance) attended the meeting. A total of 234 representatives from different units attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the house resolved to provide a Micro Financing Loan to subscribers of NPEWS with minimal interest return which will function by the early part of 2024. It also resolved to conduct a one day seminar on NPEWS for all unit dealing assistants of NPEWS. On the works/achievements during the current year, cash award was given to 8 (eight) students of HSLC/ HSSLC toppers for the year 2023 for children of employees under Nagaland Police Department etc.
