NPP Nagaland Unit lauds appointment of Kikon as Nat’l General Secretary

Kohima, March 13 (MExN): The National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland Unit has welcomed and appreciated the decision of appointing Mmhonlumo Kikon as the National General Secretary (Political) of the National People's Party, under the dynamic leadership of Conrad K Sangma.

In a statement, the NPP Nagaland Unit stated that the appointment of Kikon to this important national position is a significant step that will further strengthen the party’s political outreach and organisational structure across the Northeast region and the country.

At the same time, it expressed confidence that his rich political experience, leadership qualities, and commitment to public service will greatly contribute to the growth and consolidation of the NPP.

Likewise, the party also conveyed its appreciation to the National President for entrusting a leader from Nagaland with such a crucial responsibility in the party’s national structure, a decision which the unit believes reflects the growing importance of Nagaland within the party.

Further, the Unit extended its congratulations to Mmhonlumo Kikon and wished him success in carrying out his responsibilities in strengthening the party’s political vision and mission.

Meanwhile, it informed all party workers that P K James Sangma, the Working President of the National People's Party, will be inaugurating the State offices of the NPYF and NPWF at Dimapur on March 14, and has requested party leaders and workers to attend the programme and extend their support to make the occasion a success.
