Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): In pursuance with the directive of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and the IYC nation wide move to reorganize, revamp and strengthen the Youth Congress and to inject political will among the younger generations by giving them respectable position at all level of Youth Congress set up, the Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) request all the District Congress Committee to appointment a new DYC president.
NPYC, President, Kuputo Shohe in a press release stated that as directed by the IYC, the appointment of new District Youth Congress presidents should be completed on or before February 28 in all the districts and the appointment of Block/Area Youth Congress presidents should be completed by March 15. All the NPYC office bearers and in charge of districts are directed to co-ordinate with the respective DCC office with immediate effect. The criteria includes that he/she should be born after January 1976 and selection of DYC president should be done on the basis of talent search.
