Interns holds up the certificates during the Internship Certificate Distribution Day in Kohima on December 13.
Kohima, December 14 (MExN): The Nagaland Rhododendron Society (NRS) successfully organised the Internship Certificate Distribution Day to honour and recognise interns who completed their internship with the Society.
The programme was held at Rhododendron Restaurant and was attended by office bearers of the Nagaland Rhododendron Society, members, mentors, and interns. The event marked the culmination of the interns’ learning journey, during which they actively contributed to conservation awareness, documentation, and promotion of rhododendron biodiversity in Nagaland.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Azo Louis khariitso, Advisor of the Nagaland Rhododendron Society, congratulated the interns for their dedication and encouraged them to remain committed to environmental conservation and sustainable development. Dr KELUHOL TASE, President of Nagaland Rhododendron society highlighted the importance of youth participation in preserving Nagaland’s rich floral heritage, particularly rhododendrons, which hold ecological and cultural significance.
Certificates were formally distributed to the interns in recognition of their hard work and commitment. The Society expressed its appreciation to all mentors and supporters who guided the interns throughout the programme.
