Dimapur, September 18 (MExN): The NSCN Khaplang group of Wokha region has criticized the NSCN Isak-Muivah for roaming freely in “full equipments” even as “the people of Nagaland” are “leaping forward for peace and reconciliation at the highest level under the shadow of FNR.” A note from the “NSCN/GPRN (K)” of the Lotha region said the “NSCN (IM) Lotha region is doing opposite as they are operating in the lower range of Wokha district.”
“It appears to make a query as to why the NSCN (IM) men were roaming freely with full equipments within populated areas causing a fear psychosis in minds of innocent publics which shows the absence of reconciliation,” the note appended by “dy kiolenser” Z Lotha stated.
Currently, the note said, “there is no place for other factions except NSCN (IM) group within Wokha district though the highest level of reconciliation have taken a week-long deliberation between the leaders of different groups.”
Te note referred to “facts of reconciliation agenda” such as “no expansion or territorial, no operation within the factions.” However, the note said “the operation taken up by the IM group in the lower range of Lotha areas is questionable reflecting the above mentioned agendas.”
The people, the note added, would think that reconciliation is only meant for NSCN/GPRN (IM) “which is not equitable as per the agendas of the Forum of Nagas Reconciliation.”
