Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Yung Aung) today claimed that it carried out an “attack on the 10th Assam Rifles construction team at 5:30pm” at Namgoi-Pangsau road on March 26. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN-K (Yung Aung) claimed that it “killed three on the spot,” and stated that the attack was “in response to the unified voice of the Nagas against the construction of the unlawful fence by India along the artificial boundary.”
The PRO Defence was contacted to confirm the report; however, no response was received.
