Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The Naga Youth Movement (NYM) has expressed sincere gratitude to BJP Nagaland State President Benjamin Yepthomi for his valuable support towards the establishment of the NYM administrative office.
In a press statement issued by its Media and Publicity Cell, the NYM stated that Yepthomi's generous contribution of a computer set, a Smart TV, and a printer will strengthen the day-to-day functioning of their office and enable the movement to carry out its work more effectively.
The movement also deeply appreciated the time he took to interact with NYM members, listen to youth concerns, and encourage their efforts.
Noting that Nagas are currently witnessing important discussions concerning their political future, unity, development, and the need for an honourable and lasting solution to the Naga political issue, the NYM emphasized that leaders who listen to and encourage the younger generation are setting a positive example.
The movement appealed to Naga leaders, civil society organizations, student bodies, and all concerned citizens genuinely desiring a solution to extend their support and encouragement to the NYM.
Reiterating its focus on the future of Naga youth, public awareness, transparency, accountability, systemic reform, and the protection of Naga rights, the NYM affirmed its continued commitment to the values and objectives outlined in the NYM White Paper (formerly known as Fed-Up Nagas).
The movement welcomed genuine support from all stakeholders who believe in the potential of Naga youth and a peaceful, lasting solution to the Naga political issue, looking forward to continuing its work with sincerity, independence, and responsibility.
