In a demonstration of dedication to remote animal healthcare, a veterinary team led by Dr Nusa Lohe undertook a challenging trek through dense forests to vaccinate cattle and buffaloes in villages within the Meluri district. The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Nagaland, shared on X on July 2 that Dr Lohe and the team from the Meluri veterinary circle braved tough terrain to reach the cattle of Mollen village and the buffalo herds of Kanjang village. Traveling either on foot or by Shaktiman truck, they delivered free vaccines and helped farmers secure livestock insurance. (Photo Courtesy: @AHVS10/X)
