DIMAPUR, AUGUST 18 (MExN): One man was found dead hanging from the neck at Dhansiri Bridge, Full Nagarjan, Dimapur on Thursday, August 18. According to the police it was case of suicide. The deceased identified as one Arjun Kumar Yadav was a resident of Lhomithi colony and a mechanic by profession. The suicide is believed to have been the result of a misunderstanding the deceased had with his family.
Police quoting the bereaved family said that Yadav had left home Wednesday evening in a huff following a verbal fall out he had with his father over the phone, never to return. His father is presently residing in Bihar, police said. His body was found only this morning.
Unidentified man found dead
One non-local man was found dead at New Market, Dimapur on Friday afternoon, August 18. The unidentified man, aged around 60, was said to be a homeless person. He is believed to have died of starvation. He was found wearing a grey T-shirt, blue denims and a pair of black ‘chappals’, and a shawl.
