
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): GRPS personnel on Wednesday night at around 10:30 pm recovered a body of a man from the railway track near Amar Flour Mill, Golaghat Road, Dimapur. The corpse had both feet dismembered from the ankle and also bore impact wound on the head. According to GRPS, Dimapur, the deceased is believed to be a non-Naga of around 40 years of age and is still unidentified. Earlier in the day on Wednesday afternoon, GRPS recovered another unidentified corpse of a man from the railway parking lot. The deceased, a non-Naga of around 50 years of age was believed to have died from some ailment. No evidence of bodily injury was discernible on the corpse, GRPS said. The deceased was wearing a pair of grey pants and a white vest beneath a white checked shirt.
A third corpse was recovered on Thursday, September 22 by East police Station personnel from a brick kiln at Khushia Bill. According to East PS, the deceased was found loitering in a frail physical state by some labourers near Balajee Brick kiln today. Taking pity on the man, the labourers took the man in. Believed to be a Bihari, the man of around 50 years of age, did not last long and died at around 12 noon today. Cause of death can be ascertained only after post mortem, East PS said.
