A pay-and-use public toilet is now available in Zunheboto town, addressing growing public concern over inadequate sanitation facilities. The facility is owned and managed by the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) and is located on the ground floor of the ZTC New Building, near Rochill Hospital. Users are charged a nominal fee, Rs 10 for short use and Rs 20 for long use. The initiative comes in response to public pressure over poor hygiene, open defecation, and the hardship faced by commuters, women, children, and the elderly due to the lack of proper facilities.
