The Pfutsero Government College held its 42nd Literary Day under the theme “Rooted in tradition. Reaching for excellence” at the college auditorium on March 12.
Nunese Sale, CEO Nune’s Construction and president, Vision Trinity Club graced the 1st session as the guest speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Sale, who is also president, Sari Educational Foundation and Convenor, The Dream Team Nagaland, encouraged the students to concentrate on their education at the same time promote their own culture through music, art and dance. He challenged the students to turn their dream into a reality by staying dedicated and consistent.
Earlier, the programme was led by Pfutsero Government College Students’ Union (PGCSU) Finance Secretary Muluvelu Vadeo while welcome address was delivered by Meno-u Tepfo, Magazine & Literary Secretary PGCSU. All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) President Tenyesinlo Bukh and PTCSU President Deve Rüho shared greetings.
The occasion witnessed showcase of design by Wulo Akami Artworks. Razolü Kezo invoked God’s blessings while Cunulu Puro presented special number. Vote of thanks was proposed by Lhimene-u L Mero, assistant magazine and literary secretary PGCSU.
The programme was followed by 2nd session featuring essay writing, poetry writing, photography, sketching, flower arrangement, debate, slam poetry, dance, stand-up comedy and singing competition.
