Phek NCSU holds consultative meet with Congress, NPF, PAPO

Dimapur, July 20 (MExN): The Phek District NCSU had brought together 19th ACCC Phek A/C, NPF 19th A/C and Phek Area Public Organisation (PAPO) in a consultative meeting held at Phek Town GB's Association Hall on July 13.
A press note appended by Sapralu Nyekha, joint secretary of NCSU stated that the main agenda of the meeting was to give priority to the construction work going on at DC complex office for the welfare of the people of Phek district. The meeting witnessed serious deliberation on the issue where different views and concerns were brought forth debated and shared.
The house unanimously decided to convey their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to DAN govt led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for initiating various development works in Phek district for the benefits of the public.
It stated that the meeting came up with a resolution signed by Huvosa Venuh Persident ACCC 19th A/C Zashevoti Lohe, president PAPO, Api Vadeo, president 10th A/c NPF and Setso Puro, president NCSU to approach the concern contractors to hasten up the construction work within the time framed given in the work order, and to adhered strictly to the work specification given in the contract manual.
The house also resolved to stand by the decision of NCSU Phek where the commissioner, Nagaland has been apprised to set up fact-finding committee for enquiring serious anomalies detected in the construction work, and to award befitting action against the contractors and erring officials.
It also resented the delay tactics in the construction work for almost 3/4 months. NCSU Phek had further emphasis on the importance of quality workmanship and further warned that it shall conduct a surprise touring on spot verification of all contract work being carried out in the district to ensure that public welfare is given priority.
As NCSU Phek is an NGO and a neutral body, that work solely for the benefits of the public, any party or individual; opposing its stand without knowing the ground realities shall not be tolerated, the note said.
