DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 15 (MExN): The Phom Region GPRN/NSCN has totally refuted the statement issued by some misguided elements who claimed to owe allegiance to impeached chairman S.S Khaplang.
“The National workers from Phom Region would like to clarify there is no question of supporting SS Khaplang under any circumstances”, stated a press note issued by the MIP.
It was stated that along with the rest of the Nagas the Phom people supports Naga Reconciliation Process and therefore under the leadership of Chairman Gen Khole and General Secretary N Kitovi Zhimomi, the undersigned shall stand committed to the National cause.
The Phom region GPRN/NSCN who signed the support statement are L. Shonhyong Phom, Tatar cum Caretaker Chairman; Phom Region. Capt. Anyeang Khom, Region Advisor; Tanlong Phom, Vice-Chairman; N Chinkum, Region Secretary; Shinglang Phom, Region Finance Secretary; Pauloi Phom, Razou Peyu (Chingmei Range); Laiang Phom, Razou Peyu (Shamong Range); Chuba Phom, Razou Peyu (Yengnyu Range); Noklong Phom, Leacy Speaker; Pangtang Phom, Region Guard Commander and Shungshang Phom, Region chairman’s guard commander.
