
Dimapur, February 17 (MExN): The Dimapur police have arrested one of the accused in connection with the looting of Rs62,000 from Gopal brick Kiln at Badumphukuri, Dimapur on Tuesday by unidentified gunmen.
The Additional Superintendent of Police, Dimapur in a press note has informed that the accused has been identified as Ghutoka Sumi, s/o Khekuto of Nunumi village, Satakha, Zunheboto and residing at Full Nagarjan, Dimapur along with the silver Santro car (AS01A-7784), which was used during the looting.
The accused has disclosed that there were five of them who committed the crime, including one ‘2nd Lt.’ Keyishe Sumi of NSCN (K) who was the mastermind in the looting. Efforts are on to arrest the remaining accused as soon as possible, the note said.
