Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): The Dimapur police personnel operating the police check gate at Chumukedima seized a “huge consignment of illegal drugs” – Spasmo Proxyvon from a Tata Winger bearing R/No – AS 11AC-2689.
Additional superintendent of Police, Dimapur in a press note stated that neatly packed in seven boxes; there were 48,000 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon.
Related to the incident the police arrested two accused - The driver of the vehicle, one Athon Lingmai (30 years) S/o Phenri Lingmai from Namdilong, Manipur and Md C Babul (24 years) S/o Yusuf from Wangmai, Manipur. The police have registered against the accused under section of NDPS Act.
