Power dept notifies on partial shutdown on July 27

Dimapur, July 24 (MExN): Power supply to Chümoukedima district, Peren district and parts of Dimapur and Niuland districts will remain disrupted for three hours on July 27 owing to maintenance work on transmission lines, the Department of Power said on Friday. 

In a press release, the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Dimapur, said a shutdown of the 66 kV Chümoukedima and 66 kV Ganeshnagar transmission lines has been scheduled from 6 am to 9 am to facilitate vegetation clearance in the Zoological Park area.

During the shutdown, consumers receiving electricity from the Sovima, Chümoukedima and Ganeshnagar substations will be affected, the department said.

The department expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and appealed to consumers for their cooperation during the maintenance work.
