Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): The Power Department has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 33kV AP1/Medziphema transmission feeder to facilitate urgent maintenance work in the Pagala Pahar area.
According to an official press release issued by the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division Dimapur, Er S I Asangba Tikhir, the shutdown is necessary for the relocation of poles and stringing of conductors that have been affected and are on the verge of collapse due to soil erosion.
The shutdown will be carried out on March 26 from 6 am to 11 am, and from March 27 to March 28 between 6 am and 10 am.
All consumers under the Medziphema sub-division will be affected during the shutdown period.
The department has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and has requested cooperation from all consumers during the maintenance work.
