Kohima | September 3 : The Government Primary School, New Minister Hill, Kohima, which opened this year got the first mid-day meal which was formally launched with the celebration of 1st pre-teachers day at the panchayat hall.
The formal programme was graced by the locality leaders led by Panchayat chairman Shurho-o Solo and WEC Chairman Lima Imsong. Imsong thanked the WEC members led by the Panchayat Chairman for their support and cooperation in managing the school and also the School Education department particularly the DEO Kohima for their constant support in all the ventures by the school since its inception. He further called upon the teachers, students and WEC members to strive and work in cooperation and be steadfast to uphold the ethics and be disciplined and punctual so that the school can be a model school.
Earlier, Ethel delivered speech on behalf of the students while Vizo proposed the vote of thanks.
