The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Kohima Office hosted a career awareness programme at ICFAI University Nagaland on September 21.
Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Kohima Office conducted a career awareness programme at ICFAI University, Nagaland, Chümoukedima on September 21, focusing on career opportunities at the central bank, particularly for women students. The programme was attended by students from Management, Commerce and Economics, among others. Professor Dr Amit Kumar Aditya, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University Nagaland, delivered the welcome address.
K Samuel Liangousiam, Assistant General Manager, and Lydia L, Assistant Manager, served as resource persons. The programme covered the functions of the RBI, career expectations, benefits and perquisites, work culture, career progression, women-centric policies and the recruitment process for RBI examinations. According to the university, a key focus of the programme was to increase awareness of career opportunities at the RBI, particularly among women students.
